On
all big game hunts, ASGS strictly enforces a "wounded
animal policy".
This simply means that if an animal is hit or blood is drawn,
it's yours.
It
is ASGS responsibility to make sure that everyone goes home
safely.
Drinking is prohibited while hunting.
After all firearms are put away for the day, the bar is open.
|
For
those clients that are flying,
ASGS offers airport pick up and drop off at Victoria Regional
Airport,
depending on scheduled arrival and departure times.
Please inquire about this when booking your hunt.
For
those clients who plan on driving.
We suggest that you try to arrive as early as possible for
your hunt.
Arriving early not only allows time to unpack and unwind.
This will also allow you time to sight in your firearm,
and see the area you will be hunting in before dark.
|
Gratuities
are customary and greatly appreciated for both guides as well
as cooks.
We are asked frequently what is customary?
If your hunt and our service met or exceeded expectations.
"This is a general rule "
Guides : 10-15% of the cost of the hunt
Cooks: $20-$30 per day is customary.
Some camps will host a full time cook staff.
At others camps your guides will be your cook.
